IBM Sterling B2B Integrator B2Bi 5.2.6 introduced a new REST API interface for the following services:
- On-boarding trading partners, users
- Mailbox and document operations.
- Workflow and schedule operations.
- Filegateway operations like replay.
- Connect : Direct APIs.
- System APIs.
Complete API list with usage examples here.
After installing the REST API service , a new WebSphere Liberty Profile server will be added and configured to listen on B2Bi base ports +74 (http) and +75 (https).
The configuration for the WLP server can be found in the “server.xml” file in the following directory path.
<SB2B install path>/liberty/wlp/usr/servers/SIServer
A web application, containing the REST webservices implementation, b2biAPIs.war is deployed on WLP server. This application communicates with a REST API wrapper restapi.war deployed on a B2B Integrator REST HTTP server adapter as shown below:
The REST API implementation comes with a Web Services Browser that contains the details about each API, the swagger definition of REST APIs and an API testing interface to test REST calls.

The documentation states that you need to have SFG in order to install the REST API:

how can we restrict the access to only the limited rest APIs to the users? the AIPUser permission gives access to all APIs.
